Director, Maker, and Performer,

Marie S Brown received her MFA in Directing from the University of Texas at Austin, and her BA in Music and Theatre from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, and developed a broad range of skills through a devoted practice of life-long learning. She is drawn to collaborations that invite innovative, multi-disciplinary, and educational approaches to challenging questions, is passionate about building connections, cultivate curiosity, and empowering the voice, body, heart, and hand.  She is currently the Executive Director of Handshouse Studio.
